A certified professional tour guide will be waiting for you who is ready to answer any questions you have related to ancient Egyptian artifacts and antiquities.
The tour begins with a guided tour by a qualified Egyptologist to the Karnak Temple Complex, which is the largest temple in Egyptian history, and it was dedicated to the worship of the god Amun as its head. You will also be able to go to the Great Hypostyle Hall in the Precinct of Amun-Re with 134 massive columns arranged in 16 rows. You will also have the opportunity to see the sacred lake in the Precinct of Mut, which is constructed in a crescent shape and is more than 3000 years old and until now its water has not dried up. You can take wonderful photographs from this fascinating historical site as well. The Obelisk of Hatshepsut has been set next to the sacred lake which decorates the Karnak temple after its recent restoration.
You will then have another special tour, food tour! After finishing the Karnak tour, you will be having a beautiful Egyptian lunch, trying the Egyptian cuisine and living in the Egyptian atmosphere while eating in a restaurant with a fascinating Nile view.
Then you will have another interesting guided tour to the Luxor Temple Complex, which is located on the east bank of the Nile River. It was one of the two primary temples on the east bank, the other being Karnak and it was built during the New Kingdom and dedicated to the worship of the goddess Mut. The Luxor temple contains the temple of King Amenhotep III, the shrine of Alexander the Great since that Luxor temple was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship and in the case of Alexander the Great, who claimed he was crowned at Luxor but may never have traveled south of Memphis. It also contains some remains of a Roman shrine, and it has a crucial and awe-inspiring construction which is the Rams Road (also known as the Avenue of Sphinxes or The King’s Festivities Road) and it is a long avenue which connects the Karnak Temple with the Luxor Temple lined with over 1050 sphinxes and rams. You will have an opportunity to see this fascinating path which has been reopened on 25 November 2021 to the public having concluded restoration works that took a very long time to be completed.
A check-in for an overnight stay in a 4-star hotel with all the means of comfort and entertainment. The hotel will also frequently include access to high-quality fitness centers and pools, so you’ll feel like you’re staying in an exclusive resort rather than a hotel so you can keep up your daily routine. (Breakfast included)
Have another food tour by having a special dinner in one of the finest Egyptian restaurants in Luxor which provides the most beautiful Egyptian meals.
Then we finish our day with a special show in the Karnak temple, the Karnak Sound and Light Show! Go to a journey in the past, in the Ancient Egypt’s era, learn about the pharaohs and the gods they served during the Sound and Light Show, a nighttime audiovisual experience that shows the Karnak Temple from a different perspective. The focus here is on bringing the temple to life through atmospheric lighting and sound effects, letting the sheer scale and historical significance of the structure shine through with a little extra drama. The pharaohs who built parts of the temple complex talk to you as you pass through the site, detailing their accomplishments, beliefs and the royal way of life they enjoyed some 3,000 years ago.
You will have some snacks and soft drinks while you are on the way to an amazing adventure to start your day with.
Ready for a new adventure to start your day with? Enjoy the newest, safest and most comfortable hot air balloon ride in Luxor! It also gives you a chance to take marvelous photographs from this epic adventure. (it requires an additional charge)
You will return to the hotel to have your breakfast there.
Then you will have a guided tour in the Valley of the Kings (or the Valley of the Gates of the Kings). The valley (wadi) consists of two valleys: the East Valley (where the majority of the royal tombs are situated) and the West Valley (Valley of the Monkeys). Valley of the Kings is a treasure trove of archaeological wonders, containing 62 royal tombs and chambers that are filled with art and hieroglyphics. You will be visiting 3 of the royal tombs and you can also see King Tutankhamun’s tomb —the most famous sight in the valley— for an additional charge.
You will then have a chance to visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut which is a mortuary temple built during the reign of Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt that ruled Egypt for over 20 years. You will be in a stunned disbelief by the epic architecture and design of this temple since this temple is the only surviving temple of this unique architectural heritage. Her tomb lies inside the same massif capped by El Qurn, a pyramid for her mortuary complex.
Then you will see the Colossi of Memnon which are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which stand at the front of the ruined Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III. These massive fascinating statues contain 107 Roman-era inscriptions in Greek and Latin.
